Environmental Monitoring Systems provide feedback on the status of the Computer Room. Voice or Data messages alert the operations management whenever any of the monitored functions exceed their limits. Temperature may increase to the point whereby the electronic equipment can malfunction or fail completely. With the Prom Electronics Environmental Monitoring System EMS, you are able to monitor all of the risks to your computer suite, temperature, humidity, water, fire, air conditioning, mains or uninterruptible power supplies, (UPS ) even your network via our SNMP interface. If any parameter or limit is exceeded then the Automatic Telephone Dialling System calls on a pre-set series of emergency numbers in sequence to alert the recipient. Upon answering the call a voice message states the nature of the alarm and then allows the alarm to be a) cancelled or b) continued on to the next number. If it is not answered in a timely manner then it calls the suceeding number and repeats this until it is answered.
